‘ILIMA AT LEIHANO SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY HOSTS SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE TO BENEFIT KEIKI IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HELPING HANDS HAWAI‘I
WHAT: ‘Ilima at Leihano Senior Living Community has partnered with local non-profit Helping Hands Hawai‘i to ensure school-aged children will have the supplies they need this year by hosting a school supply drive, and the public is invited to join in the collection effort. In addition to the donations contributed by the public, ‘Ilima at Leihano’s kupuna residents, care associates, and families are also getting into the spirit and actively helping to contribute items to the drive. ‘Ilima at Leihano serves kupuna in Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The school supplies collected at ‘Ilima through next Sunday, July 21, will be distributed to low-income and homeless keiki who reside in Hawaii.
WHEN/WHERE: ‘Ilima at Leihano located at 739 Leihano Street, Kapolei. Donation drop offs at the senior community are being collected through Sunday, July 21, 2024.
