Celebrate Lei Day at HoMA Nights on May 1 with Raiatea Helm & Friends.
This will be a May Day to remember as the incomparable Raiatea Helm takes the stage with some friends for a beautiful night of mele, hula, art, and food. Held in collaboration with Hawaiian Host.
The magnetic actor and musician Joshua “Baba” Tavares (you might have seen in ‘Auana and Rescue HI Surf) emcees the evening. Meet and mingle with Hawaiian Host’s new ambassadors, sharing stories, flavors, and the aloha spirit behind the brand.

Art activity
Join fellow guests to make a collective fabric lei with HoMA’s Community Programs Teacher Janet Tran. Through a shared act of making, this activity focuses on the values embodied by lei—aloha, generosity, connection, and honoring place and community.
