Live from the Atherton returns with a new lineup of local musicians celebrating jazz! Join us for the Hawaiʻi Jazz Performance Series at our Honolulu studio featuring Quadpod.

About the artists:
This concert will feature the each performer of Quadpod in their element, showcasing their unique and individual prowess on their respective instruments in the genre of bebop, hard bop, and post bop. Songs to be performed are a mixture of well-known, obscure yet accessible, and original material, written by DeShannon Higa. The performance highlights not just the compositions and arrangements themselves but also the interplay among the musicians, which is what makes jazz unique among many genres of music. It is an art form that must be heard live in order to be caught up in the experience. It is a special kind of magic that only happens in the moment, one that is never repeated again.
The Live from the Atherton - Hawaiʻi Jazz Performance Series takes place on Saturdays in June. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Doors open thirty minutes before the show starts.
This event will be filmed, recorded and photographed. Your presence constitutes your release of all rights to your recorded voice and image, which may be used in projects by Hawaiʻi Public Radio.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis — advance ticket purchase is strongly suggested. General admission tickets are $45. 100% of the proceeds from each event support the featured artists.
