Gates open at 11:30 a.m. this Sunday. Bring your friends, your family & your aloha spirit — we’ll see you on the field! Enjoy a day of oceanfront polo and community spirit.
Join us for one of the most anticipated polo events of the summer as Hawaii’s top players compete for the coveted Sammy Delgado Cup — a heartfelt tribute to one of Hawaii’s greatest horsemen. Samuel “Sammy” Delgado was a legendary horse trainer, paniolo, polo player, and guiding light in Oʻahu’s equestrian community, teaching countless riders to embrace the sport of polo.
Catch the action field side with two thrilling afternoon polo matches. At halftime, enjoy a VW Car Parade of classic VWs driven by Sammy’s son and friends — a special showcase you won’t want to miss! You can also cool off at the fully stocked Paniolo Beach Bar in the center of the action, serving ice-cold beers, tropical cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and a superb wine selection.

• 2:00 p.m. – Polo match 1 (typical start time)
• Halftime – VW Car Parade!
• 3:30 p.m. – Polo match 2 (typical start time)
