Honolulu, HI - Farrington High School Performing Arts Center continues to provide high-level theatre experiences for Kalihi students and their community. In their 6th season, FPAC will be putting in a production of Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods”.
INTO THE WOODS is a musical that intertwines some of your favorite fairytale characters such as Cinderella, The Baker & his wife, Jack & the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood. Each of these characters are in search of something in their life, such as going to the ball, having a child, becoming rich, or just on their way visiting their grandma. Themes of life, love, and loss can be seen throughout, and how life's choices will always result in a consequence whether
good or bad.
The show is directed by Aubrey Lee Staley and is assisted by Farrington’s acting teacher, Kirstyn Galius. Miguel Cadoy, III serves as both FPAC’s Artistic Director and the show’s music director. The design team brings the woods to life with large set pieces and projections that will immerse and captivate the audience.
