EVENT DETAILS
Dr. Akiemi Glenn of the Pōpolo Project will kick things off (6p), blending the eclectic voices of our authors within a moderated, thoughtful discussion with four panelists. Hosted dinner and donation-based drinks will be available (6:45p) Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, Sewa Fare will take the stage, delivering a magnetic West African Drum and Dance experience enveloping guests in a dynamic showcase of cultural heritage (7p).
The evening's ambiance will be electrified by the soulful rhythms of DJ Philly Willie (7:30-9:30p). Throughout the evening, the Anthology's contributors will share excerpts from their work, offering guests a preview into the rich stories and artwork nestled within the pages of this eagerly awaited book.
The event wouldn't be possible without the support of our generous community. A big mahalo to BoxJelly for providing the perfect venue to host this community-collective Party. Culinary delights for the evening are courtesy of The Hawaiʻi Business Consultancy, with the menu prepared by A Catered Experience, showcasing the flavors of our island.
Don't miss out on this celebration of movement, music, and collective joy, as we invite you to dance, mingle, and celebrate this collective achievement! We're excited to see you there!
