Architecture Month: Photography Workshop with Olivier Koning
Spend the day with renowned photographer Olivier Koning and learn strategies & techniques to capture successful photography. The workshop will include a lecture in the morning followed by a photoshoot in the beautiful downtown Honolulu.
We will remain as a group so our photographer can share strategies and answer questions while out on assignment. After lunch, the group will return to the CFA for afternoon crits and further discussion.
Agenda:
9am-10:30am: Attendees meet at the Center for Architecture for a discussion lead by Olivier about photography.
10:30am-12pm: The group will walk through downtown Honolulu for a photo shoot session.
12pm-1pm: Brown bag lunch and meet back at the Center for Architecture to eat and select 3-4 images for formal critique.
1pm-3pm: Attendees will share their images with the group and receive critique and tips from our photographer.
What to bring: Please bring your own camera (with ideally at least a wide-angle lens since the Lobby is a bit tight) or phone to take photos with, as well as a tripod if you have one. We recommend bringing a laptop to upload your pictures.
