Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace has teamed up with the Aloha Stadium’s food drive initiative for a special Buy One Get One (BOGO) admission and Big Idaho Potato display on Sunday, April 14th and Sunday, April 28th.
As part of the State’s food drive efforts, shoppers are encouraged to bring a canned good or other non-perishable food items to donate for one FREE admission with one paid admission. Canned goods and items will be collected at all entrance gates to the swap meet & marketplace from 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Shoppers will also have the chance to stop by America’s biggest fabricated potato display and meet the Big Idaho Potato Tater Team from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Since 20212, the Big Idaho Potato Truck has traveled around the United States making its way to the island for the first time ever. This 72 ft truck weighs 4-tons with a total weight of 44,320 lbs., that’s over 20,217 servings of mashed potatoes and 1,000,000 french fries. You won’t want to miss this photo opportunity! In efforts to raise funds, the Tater Team will be onsite encouraging shoppers to sign their donation board – for every signature they will donate $1.00 to the Hawaii Foodbank. Additional canned goods may also be brought to the food drive collection tent located across the Upper Halawa Parking Lot next to the display.
Don't miss this chance to support a great cause, shop over 400 local vendors, and of course catch a glimpse of the massive Big Idaho Potato display at Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace. For more information about the Food Drive event, visit alohastadium.hawaii.gov.
