Ovryn Design Fine Furniture Pop-up

It's hard finding high-quality furniture in Hawaii. Many mainland retailers don't ship here, and the shipping costs can be prohibitive for the ones that do. After years of building custom furniture for his clients through his company Rust and Root Furniture, Danny recognized the need for well-made furniture that could be accessible to more people, without the added costs and time associated with bespoke projects.

By pairing minimalist design with unexpected and innovative elements, Ovryn Design creates pieces that are timeless yet distinctive. Each piece is built with attention to the small details, because the small details are what gives value to a piece and ensures heirloom quality.

All pieces are designed and handcrafted in Danny's Kapolei studio, and he works closely with local sawmills to carefully source lumber, utilizing locally grown wood wherever possible.
