In this election year, we’re all thinking about what defines America. Join in the first session of the Presidents’ College Read and Reflect series on Tuesday, October 8 from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Registrants will be asked to pre-read an excerpt of their choice from documents such as the U.S. Constitution, Emancipation Proclamation, Gettysburg Address, or several others. Walter Harrison, President Emeritus of the University of Hartford, will lead a non-partisan discussion on what these documents tell us – or don’t—about our country’s past, present, and future. This is one of many stimulating mini-courses and lectures offered by Presidents’ College Lifelong Learning Program at the University of Hartford. Further information at hartford.edu/pc. Email [email protected] or call 860.768.4495 with questions or to be added to the mailing list.
