Discuss What Defines America
Presidents’ College, the Lifelong Learning Program at the University of Hartford, is hosting the first session of its Read and Reflect series on Tuesday, October 8 from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Registrants will be asked to choose an excerpt from documents such as the U.S. Constitution, Emancipation Proclamation, Gettysburg Address, or several others. Walter Harrison, President Emeritus of the University of Hartford, will lead a non-partisan discussion on what these documents tell us – or don’t—about our country’s past, present, and future.
