Music + Mantra
Music + Mantra, a community event blending contemporary live music with traditional call-and-response
mantra singing, will take place on Sunday, March 22 at 3pm at the Unitarian Universalist Society East, 153 West Vernon Street, Manchester, CT.
The event offers an accessible introduction to kirtan, a musical meditation practice rooted in India’s yoga tradition. Attendees experience relaxation through music and singing. The event is inclusive, with chair and floor seating available, space for movement or dancing, and a scent-free environment.
Admission is by free-will donation, with a suggested contribution of $20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. No ticket is required; however, advance registration at eventbrite.com is encouraged to help organizers anticipate attendance.
