Behind modern borders lies a rich tapestry of ethnic traditions, religious sects (Shi’ism, Sufism, and more), and centuries of cultural transformation. Together, we’ll explore key historical turning points—from ancient heritage through the 1979 Revolution and the Iran–Iraq War. NOTE: This course focuses strictly on historical background, religion, and culture, and will not cover current event developments or active conflicts.
