University of Hartford Music Professor Mehmet Dede serves as Artistic Director of the Manhattan World Music Venue Drom and Curator of the New York Gypsy Festival. In Session 1 he’ll explore how world music builds diverse local communities. In Session 2, he’ll discuss how social entrepreneurship at small music and arts venues informs and connects people. Mondays, Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 2–3:30 p.m. Sponsored by President’s College Lifelong Learning at the University of Hartford.
