The Communications, Film, and Theater Department & Drama Society at Eastern Connecticut State University are proud to present "No Exit", written by Jean-Paul Sartre, adapted from the French by Paul Bowles and directed by Communication, Film, and Theatre student Zoe Calhoun.
Jean-Paul Sartre’s "No Exit" traps three strangers in a single, enclosed room with no escape. At first, they question why they have been brought together and search for a way out. As the hours pass, their conversations sharpen, exposing hidden truths, betrayals, and deep insecurities. The room, timeless and inescapable, becomes a stage where self-deceptions are slowly stripped away. With no distractions and nowhere to hide, every glance and every word carries weight. This psychological drama immerses audiences in an atmosphere of suspense and intimacy, leaving them to wonder what it truly means to be known and whether that is a gift or a curse.
No Exit will be presented in the Fine Arts Instructional Center's DelMonte Bernstein Studio Theater on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 7:30pm.
