Painting in Watercolor

This class is intended for beginners as well as those who have some prior watercolor experience. All are welcome!
We’ll review the various basic watercolor techniques such as wet in wet, wet on dry, blending edges, establishing values, etc.
For each class, a reference photo and/or a sketch of the suggested painting will be emailed to class participants beforehand, and then discussed in class as well. As part of the course, four different landscapes covering the four seasons are planned. We’ll include various skies and land scenes, as well as water, reflections, and shadows as appropriate in each piece. We’ll do this by instructor demonstrations as the painting develops and one-on-one assistance during class.
