Family and Friends CPR Class
The class will take place on Thursday, June 12, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the meeting room of the West Shore Regional Police Department, 510 Herman Avenue in Lemoyne. American Heart Association-trained instructors will teach participants the skills needed to successfully perform CPR on a victim of cardiac arrest, and how to help a person who is choking. They also will get hands-on experience with an automated external defibrillator, or AED. The course is for lay rescuers and is not a certification course.
