Louis Scaglione, conductor SCHUMANNSymphony No. 3 in Eb Major, Op. 97 "Rhenish�RIMSKY-KORSAKOVCapriccio espagnol, Op. 34RAVELBoleroJoin Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) as the orchestra presents the second of two concerts at Temple Performing Arts Center in celebration of PYO's 73rd Anniversary Season. Led by Maestro Louis Scaglione, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra will perform Schumann's "Rhenish� symphony, his Symphony No. 3; Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio espagnol, a musical caprice filled with beautiful Spanish melodies; and Ravel's Bolero, a work that is known for its repetitive rhythmic ostinato combined with a sultry tune that explores a pallet of extraordinary orchestral colors and sounds.
