Dementia education and support group: Palliative Care vs. Hospice Care
Senior Commons at Powder Mill hosts a dementia education and support group with informative topics to support the well-being of older adults with Alzheimer’s or other dementias and their family care partners. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 1775 Powder Mill Road in York, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Our next meeting, Thursday, Sept. 18, explores “Palliative Care vs. Hospice Care: What’s the Difference?” A representative from Caring Hospice Services explains the difference between these two levels of care and when each type is appropriate.
