Lenten Recital and Soup Luncheon
All are invited to a 30-minute, noon hour concert on Wednesday, March 15 in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church on downtown Carllsle, followed immediately by a simple soup lunch in the church's Fellowship Hall. The event is free, though a $5 donation is suggested from those able to pay with all proceeds going to Project SHARE.
This week's performer is Michelle DiBona Trefren, organist at Second Presbyterian Church and Artistic Director of Cantate Carlisle. Ms Trefren is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Piano Performance, and she holds a master's in conducting from Westminster Choir College. We are delighted that she is sharing her talents with us.
The Lenten Concert series will continue March 22 with a performance by the Boiling Springs High School Concert Choir, and March 29, with a performance by Daniel Dorty, organist at Derry Presbyterian in Hershey.
