Pennsylvania’s 47th District — home to the townships of Springettsbury, Conewago, East Manchester, Hellam and, the boroughs of Hallam, Manchester, Mount Wolf and Wrightsville — is a beautiful and vibrant community. It’s rich in history, natural beauty, and economic opportunity. We’re inviting residents of the 47th to help showcase what makes this area special through their photography! 📅 Submissions for local landscape/nature/architecture photos are open now through November 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. 🗳️ Public voting will take place from November 7 to November 29 at 11:59 p.m. 📸 More information about the photo contest can be found at the contest URL. Awards Include • 1st place: A citation signed by PA State Representative Joe D'Orsie, photo enlarged and framed in the 47th District Office and a $40 gift certificate to a local business/eatery. • 2nd place: Your photo enlarged and framed in the District Office and a $25 gift card to a local eatery/café. • 3rd place: Your photo enlarged and framed in the District Office and a $15 gift card to a local eatery/café. The contest is open to people of all ages! We look forward to seeing how the community will capture the spirit of York through their unique perspectives.
