Jerome was a 17-year firefighter with Citizen’s Fire Company No. 1 who tragically died when the front porch of a house collapsed during a two-alarm fire on March 9, 2020. Jerome was a devoted community servant whose memory will live on through the dedication of this bridge and will also inspire gratitude for our first responders for generations to come.
