Narcan Training with The RASE Project
The opioid epidemic in the United States has reached unprecedented levels. In PA alone, an average of 14 people die every day from an opioid overdose. If you would like to help potentially save the lives of family, friends, or fellow community members, consider being trained in the use of Narcan, a nasal spray which can bring overdose victims back from the brink of disaster.
This training is presented by Jessica Miller of the RASE Project. Jessica is the Education and Advocacy Coordinator at the RASE Project, and a Certified Recovery Specialist. Jessica is passionate about providing educational trainings on the disease of addiction, how the disease of addiction affects the family, the benefits of medication assisted treatment, the multiple pathways to recovery, the lifesaving use of Naloxone, the devastating impact of the opioid epidemic, and what we can do as a community to help eliminate the stigma associated with the disease of addiction and the joys of living a life in recovery.
