Music at Bosler presents: The Shane McGeehan Band
Music at Bosler is proud to present the Shane McGeehan band on Friday, October 27 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm!
Bassist, singer, and songwriter Shane McGeehan is best known for his work with Pennsylvania bluegrass band, Serene Green. Since the band's inception in 2017, Serene Green has played in over twenty of the United States, performed at countless festivals and venues alongside many nationally- and internationally-touring acts, and released two studio albums, with its third on the way.
In 2023, he released his first solo project on Patuxent Records, a label based in Maryland. In this project Shane showcases his own compositions, while at the same time continuing on his search to reproduce "that sound" created by the likes of Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, Jimmy Martin, and others who helped create the foothold of bluegrass music.
