Americana Concert Series -- Alice Wallace Band

California native, and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Alice Wallace uses an intoxicating array of vocal styles to bring her songs to life. She grew up singing and learning to play the songs of Graham Parsons, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt as a teenager. It was in the mimicking of those vocal styles that this seasoned troubadour found her own voice and songwriting skills that are the foundation of her music today. Cuttingly self-exploring, delivered with emotionality and with just the right pop Americana sensibilities, Alice Wallace turns personal heartbreak into musical gold. For anyone who loves a powerful, full-ranged, expressive voice, Alice Wallace and her band are not to be missed. Concerts happen regardless of weather -- if we have inclement weather we move the show inside to the Tryon Fine Arts Center MainStage. And ticket prices for the Americana series are very affordable.
