Gallery Talk with Claudia McAninch
Come to TJC Gallery for Artwalk on January 18th for a gallery talk featuring Claudia McAninch, architect for McMillan Pazdan Smith.
McAninch, who trained at Bauhaus University Weimar, the successor institution of the Bauhaus, will explore the origins of the artworks by Anni and Josef Albers currently on display in TJC Gallery. Tracing both Albers' time at the Bauhaus, an avant-garde art and design school founded in 1919 in Weimar, Germany, Claudia will outline the influences, distinctions, and similarities between the two artists and how they were affected by the teachings and philosophy of the school.
