Free Admission to Grand Rapids Cultural Institutions with Museums on Us®
WHAT:
The Bank of America Museums on Us program offers FREE weekend general admission to Bank of America, Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank credit and debit cardholders, at two top cultural attractions in Grand Rapids, Saturday, July 4, 2026 and Sunday, July 5, 2026.
For the past 25 years, Bank of America has provided access to some of our nation’s greatest cultural experiences and brought new visitors to our partner museums. Use the Bank of America Museums on Us Location Finder tool to search for participating cultural attractions.
Beyond Michigan, as the nation prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, Bank of America is offering free access to 250 cultural and civic institutions to help customers experience and engage with America’s history and culture, through an expansion of the bank’s Museums on Us program.
“Visiting one of these museums is an opportunity to celebrate the people, places and institutions that have shaped our country and continue to define our communities,” said Meghan Hughes, Head of Arts & Heritage. “As people travel and gather for July 4th weekend, we’re encouraging cardholders to take advantage of Museums on Us and to experience these additional programs celebrating our nation’s history.”

Simply present your Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution during the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. Program excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows. Not to be combined with other offers. Museum participation varies.
