At this Free Taiji(tai chi) Class and Presentation you will learn why as a natural exercise Taiji helps with releasing stress and anxiety that our bodies and minds hold by habit. How it improves our balance, agility and coordination. And how it strengthens our immune system and organ system functioning. No mats, pillows or special clothing needed to practice, come as you are. Exercise is done standing but also can be done in a chair. This free class will be lead by Taiji Master Chris Campbell, his 37 year plus experience & knowledge of taiji and related healing arts of qigong(energy work) and chan(meditation) will have you gracefully moving in a taiji way by the end of the class. Also, you will learn why Taiji is the proper spelling today for this healing exercise. A Five Week Beginner Taiji Course begins the following week.
