Treasures of the Baroque
“Treasures of the Baroque,” Pacific Artist Series at Fresno Pacific University. The Laudami Ensemble will perform at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the Lin Family Performance Studio, part of the Warkentine Culture and Arts Center, 4838 E. Butler Ave., Fresno, on the main FPU campus. Seating is limited! Admission $15 for general audiences and $5 for members of the university community. Known for its energetic concerts, the Laudami Ensemble brings the past to life through historically informed performance on period instruments. Drawing connections between diverse artistic inspirations, violinist Laura Jeannin and harpsichordist Michael Peterson present a collection of works from the Baroque era centered around the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries.
