Harriet Tubman: Take My Hand & Follow Me
Celebrate Juneteenth with Kids Acting With Purpose! "Harriet Tubman: Take My Hand and Follow Me" is a captivating musical production celebrating the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman and highlighting her significance in American History.
Two performances are scheduled on Friday, June 21st at 2:00pm and 7:00pm at the Jean McClung Middle School Auditorium, located at 3000 Forest Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76112. Tickets are a $9.00 donation each with the option to donate more. Your donation directly supports underserved youth having access to free out-of-school-time arts enrichment programs. This production is the closing performance of our Kids Acting with Purpose musical theatre program provided for free to underserved youth in the city of Fort Worth. During the program, participants explore acting, singing, and dancing from industry professionals in efforts to teach creative expression and develop essential professional, social, and life skills through the performing arts.
This program was organized by Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization under the direction of Acting With Mrs. Davis. Maroon 9 is an organization dedicated to curating and cultivating programming for at-risk youth throughout Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
