mystic sea, a Solo Show by Adam Fung
Join us on Saturday, September 7th, to unveil Adam Fung's newest works. The show, mystic sea, will open during Fall Gallery Night, and we look forward to having a great crowd for this all-day opening reception!
"The paintings in mystic sea (primarily oil and wax on linen) allude to sublime moments, connecting us to spaces that feel simultaneously real and unreal. Stepping into the ocean connects us to an entire world, below the surface, across constantly moving currents, a body that lacks finite boundaries. In suggesting an oracle-like quality to the landscape I want to pause and ask -do we look for, listen, or heed what the natural world foretells?" - Adam Fung
