ALL ABOUT JAZZ St Peter is currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas and is the guitarist in the One O’Clock Lab Band as he pursues his doctoral degree in Jazz Performance. Drums: Steven Starks Steven Starks is a professional drum set player and educator from Oklahoma City, OK. He received his bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas, and while in school played with many different jazz ensembles; including recording and touring with the award-winning U-Tubes jazz group. As an educator he has given drum set clinics at the Cincinnati Percussion Festival, Oklahoma State University, and Music Academy of DFW. He also has 9 years of private teaching experience. Today Steven maintains a busy schedule working both with his trio and as a freelance jazz musician, as well as teaching drum set lessons. Bass: August Bish Pennsylvania native August Bish feels at home in a variety of styles. Getting his start as a classical bassist, he has had opportunities to study and perform jazz, classical, and a multitude of other styles in New York, Texas, and Amsterdam. He is currently completing his Masters of Music degree in jazz at the University of North Texas.
