Insects come in all shapes and sizes! Join John Cambridge, from the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion, as he discusses his job as an entomologist and meet some of his favorite insects. Guests will also have the opportunity to identify insects as they explore Wyck’s garden and farm. Drop in anytime between 12 and 3! Wyck is also featuring an introduction to 3D printing.
Dr. John Cambridge is a local entrepreneur and the CEO of the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion. John received both his PhD in entomology and masters in public health from Rutgers University. John has a passion for community organizing and has won several awards for his work with educational public outreach. During his free time he works with Operation Monarch, a non-profit he co-founded with other Philadelphia business owners.
