In light of the current health crisis, DMAX is hosting two virtual events in April: Self-Esteem: Coping in Collective Isolation, on April 16 and DMAX Students Speak on April 23. DMAX’s mission is creating connections and conversations that matter to strengthen mental health and emotional well-being for young people. We believe this is more important than ever in these trying times and so are offering a “Pay What You Can” ticket price.
April 16: Self-Esteem: Coping in Collective Isolation
Enjoy a special presentation, with interactive Q&A, by Supermodel and Body Image Advocate EMME, student speakers and special guests. Each speaker will recognize and acknowledge the impacts of isolation and self-quarantine on self-esteem and mental health and suggest different tools for coping and getting through this difficult time.
April 23: DMAX Students Speak
DMAX Club leaders will join the audience in discussion after sharing their own stories and talk about what DMAX Clubs are all about, from the inspiration to start them to the impact they’ve had on students and campuses, to the ever-increasing need during the spread of Covid-19.
