The event is called 'Fight 4 Film [Volume II]'. This is a workshop series that Adaptdo Arts & Films LLC only puts on 2-3 times a year in cities that are great for film opportunities such as Philadelphia. This is the second one of this kind held in Philadelphia. The industry fight choreographer who is coordinating and hosting the workshop is a professional martial artist with over 20 years of experience. He has over 10 years in the film industry and has background/stunt credits that include the shows 'Six' and 'Knight Fight' on the History Channel. A 2019 inductee into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Halls of Honors, Sensei MJ seeks to teach and prepare actors/actresses and aspiring stunt-persons for action roles on the big screen. He stresses the importance of safety and maintaining a humble character. Sensei MJ has direct training from the lineage of Yip Man, the teacher of Bruce Lee. The instructor he trained under was taught directly by Ip Man's nephew. Talented participants who completed previous workshops, have been able to take what they learned to be part of productions by Marvel, TNT and various feature films in the independent circuit. The Fight 4 Film workshop teaches the participants the foundations and dynamics of action scenes in film and television productions.
