Learn about the first-generation college student journey from diverse perspectives. Our panelists will share their past and current college experiences to help foster conversation around the importance of a student’s sense of belonging.
The panel will begin with opening remarks by Dr. Gloria Oikelome, Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs. The panel will be moderated by Dr. James Bretz, Dean of STEM.
The panelists are:
Theresa Hummel-Kalinger, President at High Five Performance, Inc.
Damon Gray, Management Instructor at MCCC
Nicoletta Pelchat, student at MCCC
Carlos Chavez, student at MCCC
The panel will be held in the Science Center Room 213 on Central Campus in Blue Bell, with a live simulcast to North Hall, room 218 at West Campus in Pottstown and Room 217 at the Culinary Arts Institute in Lansdale. There will be a meet & greet with the panelists in the Science Center lobby from 1:30 - 2 p.m.
