Don’t get it twisted: this AIN’T your grandma’s museum outing. It is an experience like no other to hit the Philadelphia arts and culture scene, designed to delight and inspire with phone-free and hands-on fun for all ages.
Guests will experience an exclusive look into mural-making as they take a scavenger hunt, create art and participate in unexpected adventure. A new attraction is born, nestled in the heart of South Philadelphia two blocks from both the Italian Market and Magic Gardens.
The indoor immersive experience will operate year-round starting Friday, February 15th. Hours will be Wednesdays through Sundays, 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM at Meg Saligman Studio, 829 Bainbridge Street.
Visitors will expand reality and enter a new realm as they as they get a behind the scenes peek at artists creating new public work and then journey Into the Mural to adventure room to room on a creative voyage with a 45-minute artsy scavenger hunt. Explore the depths of the artist’s closet, delight in participatory art-making using light and shadow, watch animated characters come to life at every turn and hone your observation.
