This April, we’re lucky enough to bring Julio Torres (SNL, The Tonight Show) BACK to Good Good Comedy Theatre for two performances of his acclaimed show My Favorite Shapes – in preparation for his one-hour special taping!
In this multimedia comedy show, Julio Torres guides us through his favorite shapes, which include a plexiglass square, a triangle, a sphere, a self-conscious Faberge egg and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate that reminds him of Melania Trump. Julio holds various precious little objects that lead into fantastical stories, anecdotes and jokes. The show has been performed in NYC, LA, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
Julio Torres is a stand-up comedian and Emmy-nominated writer for Saturday Night Live. His sketch “Wells For Boys” was named the Best Comedy Sketch of 2016 by Vulture. He starred in his own Comedy Central half hour special and is a regular correspondent on The Tonight Show. He has also appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, HBO’s High Maintenance and The Chris Gethard Show. This summer, Julio will star in the new HBO series Los Espookys, which he co-created with Fred Armisen and Ana Fabrega.
