In this six-week class, you will learn the basics of improvised comedy in a fun and supportive space. This course aims to teach you the fundamentals of improv, build your confidence on stage and gives you the tools to collaborate and create comedic scenes with others.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Erika May-McNichol has been performing, directing and writing for 18+ years. Her comedy career started in Chicago where she trained and performed at Second City, Improv Olympic (IO) and ComedySportz. She’s been teaching since 2006 and is a founding faculty member of ColdTowne Theater in Austin, where she taught hundreds of students confidence, collaboration and finding their comedic voice.
