Good Good is so excited to bring our good friend Mitra Jouhari back to Philly from LA for two very special headlining shows! Mitra Jouhari is a WGA Award-nominated writer, comedian and actress. She is a co-creator and co-star of the upcoming Amy Poehler-produced Adult Swim series Three Busy Debras, and currently writes for Netflix’s Big Mouth. Her previous writing credits include Broad City, High Maintenance, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Pod Save America on HBO, Miracle Workers and The President Show.
Mitra has made appearances on Broad City, Search Party, Alternatino, Comedy Central stand-up and in the film The Big Sick. She co-hosts the acclaimed live show It’s A Guy Thing with Patti Harrison and Catherine Cohen, which was named one of the best alt-comedy shows in NYC by Paste Magazine and one of the best comedy shows hosted by women by Time Out New York.
Additionally, Mitra co-hosts the upcoming Earwolf podcast Urgent Care along with Joel Kim Booster, and appeared as a guest on popular shows like Hollywood Handbook, Las Culturistas, Seek Treatment, Yeah But Still, Off Book, The Worst Idea of All Time, Unofficial Expert, Dr. Gameshow w/ Jo Firestone and more.
Mitra was named an Up Next comedian at the 2019 Comedy Central Clusterfest and one of GQ’s 7 Funny People Reshaping Comedy. Her writing has appeared in McSweeneys, the LA Review of Books, Teen Vogue, Rookie, Splitsider, Flaunt, American Bystander, Reality Beach, Reductress, and more.
