This memoir tells the incredible story of Dr. Fajgenbaum receiving a near death sentence when he was diagnosed with Castleman Disease and how he came back from near death 4 times to find a drug that finally put him into a remission that has lasted for nearly four years. Chasing My Cure beautifully describe’s David’s battle with death as well as the insights about living he gained along the way. This reading will be held at the UPenn Bookstore on 3601 Walnut Street, this event is free and open to the public.
