*Ticket sales will go towards a cash prize for the Audience Favorite to be awarded at the end of the evening, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Tickets will be available at the door.

API representation starts with getting yourself counted. Get Census ready with Asian Arts Initiative through a series of open mics, hosted by three local artists and highlighting the stories of the local API community and its future generations to be seen and counted. This year the Census will be the rallying cry for support to communities that are often invisible and neglected.
Major support provided by the Philly Counts 2020 Action Fund, a partnership between the City of Philadelphia, Office of Community and Empowerment and Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia (Philanthropy Network).

Asian Arts Initiative is designed as a mobility accessible facility, with access to all public floors and spaces, and seating accommodations for programmed events. Both non-gendered and individually isolating restrooms are available on each floor, all equipped with changing stations. If contacted in advance, we will make every attempt to fulfill requests for reasonable accommodations such as vision/hearing auxiliary aids and cognitive disability guides. Please note: Due to most events being attended by the general public, we cannot guarantee accommodations for those with fragrance sensitivities. AAI is a family-friendly multigenerational space.
