The Tooth and Nail Cabaret is performing an evening of feminist vignettes as part of their short North East Coast Tour. Join them on October 22nd at 7:30p.m at Black Cherry Puppet Theatre, 1115 Hollins St., Baltimore. A puppet show featuring, burlesque and cantastorias. Drawing inspiration from Punch and Judy shows, they mount a brand new Punchette against the Patriarchy, cantastorias to Margaret Atwood, rewritings of Blue Beard and some excerpts from Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet. The show runs an hour long and cheap art will be available after the show. An evening of joyful, bright resistance tearing down the gloom from above and resurrecting the resilience from below. A night of revelry, protest and
mourning.
All performances are by cash or check donation; the suggested donation for the
