It is the fifth production in the 2025-26 Jewel Box Series, sponsored by the El Paso Community Foundation. The Boys Next Door, by Tom Griffin and directed by Mario Rodriguez, is the story of four men with various mental disabilities who live in a group home under the supervision of a stressed-out social worker. In brief vignettes over a two-month period, we get to know them in scenes ranging from comic to touching, and dramatic to sad.
