In order to experience the American history within the streets of Philadelphia, you must see Betsy Ross' house, Ben Franklin's grave and of course the steps of the Art Museum (made famous by the Rocky movies). In order to experience the culture of Philadelphia ' you have to taste its famous foods and local wines!


During this entertaining class, you'll enjoy perfect pairings featuring delicious local wines and classic Philadelphia foods: The Philly Cheesesteak, soft pretzel, and Tastykakes. Learn the history of these distinctive local favorites.About Dan:

Your host and instructor is Dan, a.k.a.: 'the Wineman.' Dan is the owner and founder of Pinot Boutique.

Dan opened Pinot Boutique in 2006 after being inspired by a trip to California's Wine Country. Pinot Boutique is located in Old City, Philadelphia, and is a 'wine accessories superstore.' Over the years, Dan has made Pinot Boutique the place to go for anything and everything related to wine: accessories, classes, private parties, and yes ....even wine!

Dan is a certified wine educator trained by the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). They are based in London, and were founded in the 16th century.
