Corner Shower and Laundry's 6th Annual Cookie Walk Sponsored by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth El
Free admission! Come choose from a great variety of homemade cookies to celebrate the holidays - purchase for yourself or to gift! Pick out as many, or as few, of the varieties that appeal to you, have them weighed, and pay $10/lb (sold by the ounce). Traditional, unique, gluten free, nut free, and vegan options will be on hand. Proceeds benefit Corner Shower and Laundry, a nonprofit in Corktown Detroit, that provides free showers and laundry for those unsheltered or otherwise in need. Consider bringing needed items to donate - bleach, PineSol (or similar), toothbrushes, toothpaste, and primarily for men, spray deodorant, body lotion, razors, shaving cream, new socks and underwear, new or gently used winter hats, gloves, scarves, coats, hoodies and/or sweatshirts.
