Pewabic Holiday Showcase

Shop new Pewabic work included in our Winter 2023 Collection alongside Independent Artist work from across the country. Our showcase is free and open to the public! Check our extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am - 6pm starting after the Winter Collection launch on Thursday, November 2 through the weekend before Christmas. We will also be open Sundays from 12pm - 4pm after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve on Sunday, December 24. Explore the gift shop and visit the current exhibition displayed in our second-floor gallery entitled “Pewabic: Detroit’s Pottery” when you visit. We’re decking the pottery out in holiday decorations, and offering special programming onsite every Saturday in December to elevate your shopping experience in-store. Founded in 1903, Pewabic is one of the oldest continually operating potteries in the country. Working out of our National Historic Landmark studio on Detroit’s east side, we preserve a tradition of hand-craftsmanship that has enriched lives for generations. Pewabic is an active working pottery, architectural tile studio, ceramic arts education center, and vibrant cultural destination that attracts visitors from around the world. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we continue to be guided by a singular mission: to enrich the human spirit through clay.
