Inaugural Artists-in-Residence at ArtClvb
Neon Beige is a solo exhibition featuring work born from the exploratory process of two completed collaborative murals: a basketball court and a 16,000 sqft. underpass. The projects prompted them to take a road trip, leading to the discovery of parallels in their differing backgrounds, tastes, and approaches to life.
The exhibition features paintings and sculptural objects grounded in subject matter from previous projects, icons and motifs found in the American landscape, culture, and nature. Inspiration also came from scenes and items from their travels, influencing their composition, color, and form decisions.
