Masonic Temple Centennial Gala
Since opening in 1926, the Masonic Temple has stood as a symbol of Detroit's resilience and growth, hosting generations of civic gatherings, charitable initiatives, performances, weddings, and milestone celebrations. The Centennial Gala will honor the building's rich history while recognizing the people and partnerships that have helped preserve its legacy for future generations.
The evening, hosted by Jay Towers, will feature a ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebration, VIP reception, a three-course dinner, live entertainment by Ben Sharkey and his band, a performance by the Detroit Youth Choir, dancing with Mike Staff Productions, and additional experiences throughout the historic venue.
The Centennial Gala theme, "Honoring the Past. Opening the Future," reflects the Temple's commitment to preserving its architectural and cultural significance while continuing to serve as a premier destination for events, entertainment, and community engagement.
Tickets are $100 and include valet parking, a cocktail hour in our Crystal Ballroom with passed Hors d'oeuvres and a seafood tower, a three-course dinner, beverages, live music, dancing, a cigar lounge, and more. Proceeds will support ongoing preservation efforts and future initiatives that ensure the Masonic Temple remains a vibrant part of Detroit's cultural landscape.
