BorderCulture: Movement and Connectivity
Presented by the Detroit People Mover in collaboration with the non-profit organization Art-ology, hosting BorderCulture as an art exhibition is the ideal opportunity to support emerging talents. In addition to strolling through the station-turned-gallery, visitors will enjoy music, refreshments and pop-up shops from local businesses. Admission to the family-friendly, non-juried show is free, and prints will be available for sale. Using art as a passport, the exhibition intends to foster cross-border engagement, to expand communities and to share the artists' work with a broader audience while highlighting public transportation's role in connecting our cities.
